Predator Customs started in 2018 with a simple goal: build better ice fishing rods. What began as a passion project quickly turned into an obsession—and we’ve never looked back.

Based in northern Minnesota, ice fishing isn’t a season for us—it’s a way of life. We spend most of our time chasing panfish, but we’re always up for any fishing trip that presents itself. When we’re not in the shop or on the ice, you’ll usually find us in the woods with our two black labs, Jigs and Boone.

Our focus has always been on quality, sensitivity, and durability. We carefully test and select the blanks we use before building on them, ensuring every rod starts with a foundation we trust. From there, each build is designed to outperform mass-produced alternatives—delivering better feel, better control, and long-term reliability.

Our designs are proven through real-world use, not lab numbers or marketing claims. The result is purpose-built gear made to fish hard and fish right.
